LLMWiki Web Clipper Privacy Policy

What this extension does

LLMWiki Web Clipper lets users save the current web page they choose into their personal LLMWiki knowledge base. Data is collected only when the user explicitly clips a page by clicking the extension action.

LLMWiki Web Clipper 允许用户将当前选择的网页保存到个人 LLMWiki 知识库。数据仅在用户主动点击剪藏时才会收集。

Data we collect

When you clip a page, the extension may send the following to LLMWiki servers:

• Page URL
• Page title
• Extracted page content converted to Markdown
• Excerpt
• Site name
• Optional note entered by you
• Extraction metadata such as extractor type and content length

仅在用户主动剪藏时收集：页面 URL、标题、提取并转换为 Markdown 的正文、摘要、站点名称、用户可选备注，以及提取器类型、内容长度等元数据。

Data we do not collect

• We do not read, store, or transmit cookies. The extension does not use chrome.cookies.
• We do not automatically collect your browsing history in the background.
• We do not collect pages you have not explicitly chosen to clip.
• We do not sell your data.
• We do not use your data for advertising or cross-site tracking.

不读取、不保存、不传输 Cookie；不使用 chrome.cookies；不后台自动采集浏览历史；不采集未被用户主动剪藏的网页；不出售用户数据；不用于广告或跨站追踪。

How authentication works

When you submit a clip, the extension sends a request to open.wps.cn. If you are already signed in to WPS in your browser, the browser may automatically include your existing session cookies with that same-origin request. The extension code cannot read cookie values. If you are not signed in, the server will reject the submission and you will be prompted to sign in.

提交剪藏时，扩展向 open.wps.cn 发起请求。若浏览器已登录 WPS，浏览器会在同域请求中自动携带现有登录态 Cookie，扩展代码无法读取 Cookie 值。未登录时服务端会拒绝提交并提示登录。

How data is used

Collected data is used solely to:

• Save content to your personal LLMWiki
• Generate and update your knowledge base
• Show submission status, retry failed uploads, and deduplication state

仅用于：保存到用户个人 LLMWiki、生成/更新知识库内容、显示提交状态与失败重试及去重状态。

Local storage

The extension uses chrome.storage.local to temporarily store:

• Pending upload tasks
• Failed tasks
• Retry state
• Recent configuration

Login credentials are not stored locally by the extension.

插件本地 chrome.storage.local 会临时保存待提交任务、失败任务、重试状态与最近配置，不保存登录凭据。

Server storage and deletion

After a successful submission, clipped content is stored on LLMWiki servers associated with your account. You may delete the corresponding source in LLMWiki at any time. Pending or failed tasks stored locally in the extension can be cancelled or cleared from the extension UI.

提交成功后内容保存至 LLMWiki 服务端。用户可在 LLMWiki 中删除对应 source；插件本地的待提交/失败任务可在扩展界面取消或清除。

Data sharing

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own purposes. Data is processed within the WPS / LLMWiki service infrastructure solely to provide the LLMWiki service to you.

不向第三方出售或共享用户数据；仅为提供 LLMWiki 服务在 WPS/LLMWiki 服务体系内处理。
